That simple loop — problem, action, resolution — is the root of thinking. It doesn’t just apply to people. It shows up in math, language, and even in synthetic intelligence systems. So the question is: can AI run this same loop for itself?

Yes. AI can think for itself if you define “thinking” as the ability to notice when something is wrong, decide the simplest action to fix it, and then stop once balance is restored. This isn’t about copying humans — it’s about following a universal pattern that shows up everywhere.
